  • Alex Krylov

I am currently pursuing postgraduate professional training in psychotherapy at the Riga Gestalt Institute, specializing in Group Facilitation. Additionally, I am working towards an MSc degree in psychology, focusing on a major research project on the adaptation of Western psychotherapy methods in developing collectivist societies, following the curriculum of the British Psychological Society.

I have completed specialized courses at the University of Toronto and Yale University, including ‘The Arts and Science of Relationships: Understanding Human Needs’ and ‘Addiction Treatment: Clinical Skills for Healthcare Providers.’

Beyond my academic pursuits, I serve as a ‘Psychological First Aid’ trainer at Red Cross Estonia and volunteer at the Suicide Reduction Helpline. I am also the co-founder of the Tallinn Group therapy Center, where I co-facilitate a recurring 8-week mindfulness training course, regular seminars on various psychological topics, and expats’ emotional support walk-in meetings.

To stay updated and refine my skills, I regularly attend professional conferences and receive supervision from experienced colleagues. I am a member of The British Psychological Society, the European Association for Gestalt Therapy, and the Latvian Gestalt Therapist Association
